Introduction

Archipelago One offers bespoke cross-border capital advisory, investment and market access services linking Europe and South East Asia; particularly, Thailand.

We primarily serve family offices, corporate venture arms, mid-market private equity funds, venture capital funds, and asset managers.

Our clients mainly focus on three asset classes, including alternative assets (private equity, private debt and venture capital), real estate, and innovative financial products such as structured notes.

Cross-border investing and access to new markets often require to connect many dots. Archipelago One’ mission is to facilitate and accelerate this process, working alongside your team as a trustworthy, efficient, focused and well connected resource.

We are based in London (UK) and nurture trusted  relationships in Europe and South East Asia. We connect local insight, influencers and opportunities with globally minded investors.

About US

Archipelago One is founded by Eve Chirdkiattisak, a Thai / UK / French citizen with 15 years  of experience in Private Equity, Investment Management and Family Office advisory in South East Asia, US and UK.

Eve has been working in private equity for the past 7 years in a UK mid-market fund in origination, investment and board observer functions. She was previously in investment and advisory roles for a large Swiss family office, an Asian asset manager and a Boston based consulting firm serving biotech venture capital investors.  

Eve is a MBA graduate from Babson College, Massachusetts, and a Business Adminstration graduate from Thammasat University, Bangkok.

Eve lives in London and travels frequently to Thailand and the South East Asian region.

In September 2018, Eve set up Archipelago One, aiming to unlock opportunities of cross broader investing between South East Asia and Europe for Family Offices and  Asset Managers.

Strong market mapping and research are foundational to a market access service, and achieving this can be particularly difficult in an opaque market place where a local language still dominates. Indeed, valuable intelligence mostly lies in local-level proprietary research. As such, we assist clients with the initial research they need to answer any fundamental questions regarding the Thai and South East Asian markets.

Having access to decent networks is vital when doing business in the South East Asian region. We have a solid network incorporating family offices, corporate venture arms, investment banks, asset managers and regulatory bodies that will help our clients thrive.

We are able to assist with fund-raising from a range of LP’s, Asset managers, Government Pension Funds and Family Offices for Funds, SPV’s and Co-Investment vehicles, occasionally co-investing or reinvesting our fees alongside our clients.
